The Dallas Exhibition Center

Last Thursday I had the opportunity to visit The Dallas Exhibition Center over in the Softlayer building. My overview of the tour was not what I expected. I thought I was going to find myself touring a huge building with millions of offices. Instead, I toured an area that can change lives and businesses in Dallas, where creativity embraces in and out. I found to believe that although the organization is fairly new, the DEC is doing an exceptional job guiding companies and entrepreneurs to a better state in the market and contributing to establish a entrepreneurship environment for the Dallas Metroplex.

The overall mission or goal of the DEC is very interesting. It was designed to guide starting entrepreneurs with a location so they can build their ideas and generate process for their business and products. The DEC provides  help and guidance from mentors who are professionals in what they do to these beginning entrepreneurs, ensuring that their business can growth in all lengths and angles.

I was privilege to meet three of the founding members of the DEC, Trey Bowles, Jennifer Conely and Jermery Vickers.

The DEC also provides internships opportunities for college students.
